The In Laws Arrive in Memphis
We had a phone call to say that Becky's parents plane was to land in Memphis Airport at 2:00 p.m. so we made the 12 mile journey up there to pick them up. We took them to their hotel (The Talbot Heirs) on North Second and after unloading there luggage we arranged to meet them on Beale Street at Silky O'Sullivans. We went back and parked the car up and caught the trolley along Main Street to Beale where we listened to a blues guitarist at the bar whilst having a few drinks...
